From the Specialist - Long
Our elder population, especially in the City, has day to day better information about health, better lifestyle, and disease prevention.
All medical services make advisable to walk, swim, gymnastics, etc. to be part of our daily habits.
Municipalities, aware of these healthy activities, let people make use of their facilities, built for that purpose, where they can practise physical exercises, swimming pools, etc. But these facilities are fully booked very quickly and, of course, available places are limited.
As a help to these facilities, our cities have open air parks where people can use to exercise such as jog, run, physical games, etc.
Nowadays, in these open air parks, new complementary devices are being installed in order to help with physical exercise at the time that helps rehabilitation.
These apparatus, easy to use, versatile with no essential maintenance needed, are gaining the approval in the leisure of our neighbours, as playgrounds did in the past.
In this way, a social need is covered meanwhile we cooperate to keep people healthy and entertaining, helping with the physical and psychical need of every human being at any age in our lives.
