Let me quote Gabor Kiss, JGYTFK the Department of Physical Education and Sports Institute of Physical Education Department associate professor:

   A healthy lifestyle in relation to the recently discussed concept has become more and more about recreation, but probably only a few are fully aware of this report, the content of the most important elements. Why is recreation important to maintaining health?

   Well, the term recreation wider regeneration of the human body everyday, physical, mental, spiritual refreshment, health and preservation of the quality of life means. The accepted international interpretation of recreation is the culture of spending the free time.

   In the strict sense of the move recreation activities include the sport rekreation. Preservation of health is especially important for active recreation: that of movement, a walk, or play sports.

   The most economically developed regions (western countries and societies), where the needs of the average people lays also higher, is known for years as the concept of recreation: the respective capabilities of people everywhere strive to continually improve the quality of life and health. Hungary, however, is stil on a very low level in this area, particularly with regard to the movement – according to the professionals. We remain light years behind on the west countries, but also Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland are ahead of us. Compared to the north European countries we just reach 20%, while there 60-70% of the population does active sports twice or three times a week.

   Perhaps it is not surprising that in these countries, work, economic performance and health indicators are much better than at us.
It is a scientifically proven fact, that for the development and for correct operation of the human body, optimal intensity of movement and physical activity is needed.

    If lifestyle of moving possibility is narrowed or eliminated, it becomes more difficult to avoid a variety of mental dysfunction (eg load tolerance, conflict or problem-solving ability in the field) and the dangerously poor movement lifestyle associated with anatomical defects associated with diseases (such as high blood pressure, musculoskeletal disorders, obesity) formation. The movement cures a lot of illnesses, but not so much by rehabilitation, but rather in terms of prevention this should be utilized. Of course, it is good to start the jogging after having a hart infarct, but rather to do this sooner, the bigger the chance of avoiding trouble.
